  • Ken ReidPresident, CEO

    Ken graduated with his Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario.  Immediately entering the family business in 1989 with Micro Market, he continually builds and applies his business leadership and management skills.

    Establishing OnServe in 2006, with a foundation built on growing the business based on helping customers grow their business, Ken seeks out well managed businesses that realize a well managed IT infrastructure is crucial to growth.  Ken applies his significant industry and commerce experience to produce OnServe’s comprehensive IT management services.

    A strong advocate of giving back to the community, in his free time he is committed to amateur sports, most specially with an enthusiasm for ski racing.


  • Shawn ReidChairman

    With over 25 years experience in the IT industry, Shawn is a natural entrepreneur and technology leader. He has an eye for seeing the trends and identifying future change, while successfully incorporating business solutions and services. With the natural evolution in the computer world from reactive to proactive management Shawn has continually been committed to helping customers change with respect to their IT environments.

    Since starting Micro Market in 1986, OnServe’s sister company, he has delivered major contributions to the company’s rapid growth, most specifically and recently in the managed IT services market with OnServe.

    Shawn attended St. Lawrence College with a primary focus on computer technologies. He enjoys sports and recreation with a passion for sailing, competitively and for relaxation.


  • Glenn ReidVice President of Operations

    With more than twenty years industry experience in IT management, Glenn has extensive experience in all aspects of the management and implementation of client/server components of IT systems.  He is stead fast with his strong principles in providing services and technology-based solutions that enable clients to enjoy improved and valued service, while being innovative.

    While joining Micro Market in 1988, Glenn was an integral part of the launch of OnServe.  He is constantly seeking ways to advance the infrastructure environment.

    Actively involved, coaching or volunteering in soccer, skiing, and snowmobiling are just a few of Glenn’s pastimes.


  • Justin BrakeDirector of Operations

    Graduating from the College of the North Atlantic in 1998 as a Sound Technologist, Justin relocated to Kingston from Stephenville Crossing, NL. With fifteen years of experience in the Mobile Technology industry, he is a focused and creative technology leader.

    As the former Information Systems Manager for one of Ontario’s largest Rogers Authorized Dealers, he accepted a position at OnServe as the Virtual Chief Information Officer, where he continues to draw on his experience to balance life/work while taking every opportunity to focus on what we truly can control.

    In June 2015, he was appointed the Director of Operations at OnServe. Determined to expand business development, while continuing to improve the operational efficiencies, he’s shaking things up.

    When Justin’s not at work, or with his loving family, he’s found living the nightlife as the bassist for Hays Code, Kingston’s Top Rated Alt-Rock group.


  • Andrew SteeleProject Management Team Manager

    Andrew completed MCSE 2000 training at Loyalist College in 2003.  Then immediately began working for an IT service company.  Growing his skill in customer service and technical proficiency with Microsoft Server products, Networking and Virtualization.

    Andrew Joined OnServe in 2006 and has helped develop and grow OnServe by providing his expertise with Networking, Routing, Microsoft Server, Exchange, SQL, Office 365 and VMware in a management and project capacity for OnServe clients.  OnServe is utilizing Andrew and his skills in developing and managing our Project Team focusing on IT projects. Andrew enjoys reading, fishing, and gaming.


  • Joe OliveiraNetwork Administrator Team Manager

    Joe is a Computer Networking & Technical Support graduate from St. Lawrence College with over 6 years of experience in the IT industry.  He is methodical in his approach to work and has a good eye for detail.

    As an advocate for change and constant improvement, Joe has played a key role in driving major changes to OnServe’s structure, policies and procedures.  He never settles on “good enough” and is always looking for ways to push things to the next level.

    Joe oversees the Network Administrator Team at OnServe, who are responsible for the ongoing maintenance, assessment and improvement of client networks.

    Help Desk Team Manager

    With 42 years in Business Technology support, Dave has spent the last 35 years specifically in IT Support.  Having spent a number of years in a management position he has always been on a mission to help others.
