Once he graduated from the College of the North Atlantic as a Sound Technologist in 1998, Justin Brake moved from Stephenville Crossing, NL to Kingston, ON to find a better music scene. He quickly found a Sales & Support position at Radio Shack until December 1999, when he accepted an offer with a local Rogers Authorized Dealer, Technosave, Inc. For two and a half years, he worked to further his IT experience and grow as a technician and working manager.
In June 2014, he decided to branch off and start working on the Sales and Account Management Team at OnServe. As the days go by, he’s gotten more excited, involved, and continued to draw on his previous experience while doing more with less, working smarter rather than harder, and looking forward to the opportunities, battles, and successes of the future.
Aside from being a typical gadget guru, he’s a singer/songwriter and musician who produces, engineers, and masters music for single or smaller group musicians who generally perform acoustic folk, rock, and alterative music. In 2013, he put down his guitar and picked up a bass – joining KATE, which has recently been reformed as Hays Code; and released a single from his first album known as “Cries That Are Never Heard.” The single was featured on a benefit album through www.musicbuilder.com.
When he’s not at work, in a studio, or on stage, he’s spending time with his two sons, Justice and Landon, and his partner in crime, Jennifer, all of whom enjoy the simple things in life and collectively support each other.
